■ INTRODUCTION
The SL8335 is a CMOS PFM-control step-upswitching DC/DC converter. The VFM controller allows the duty ratio to be automaticallyswitched according to the load, enablingproducts with a low ripple over a wide range,high efficiency, and high output current.
With the SL8335 , a step -up switching DC/DCconverter can be configured by using anexternal coil, capacitor, and diode. The built-inMOSFET is turned off by a protection circuit
when the voltage at the LX pin exceeds thelimit to prevent it from being damaged. Thisfeature, along with the mini package and low current consumption, makes the SL8335 ideal for applications such as the power supply unit of portable equipment. ■ FEATURES
